We are host partner for Leonardo da Vinci programs from all over Europe.
Students come for 1 to 26-week programs including French classes and non paid Work experience in a French company.
Since 2006 more than 500 students from all over Europe have been selected to participate in our Leonardo Da Vinci programs.
Their objectives:
- improve their French language skills
- share the European spirit in a professional environment
- implement their professional skills as an intern in a French company.
To fulfil the Students University and professional projects, ALFMED offers not only a linguistic training course but also a cultural and professional immersion with the help of ALFMED’s partnership network. The philosophy of ALFMED is to offer immersion programs combining French with Culture & History, Work Experience and Gastronomy

We are ready to set up a partnership as a host organisation for some LDV programs either for groups (1 to 10 students over 1 to 26 weeks) or individuals. ALFMED can host any kind of project, our professional network in

Being part of some specific events can be a very good opportunity for the beneficiaries to be integrated in a French professional staff and live a great adventure !!! These ideas are related to some specific periods :

ALFMED main assets
- capacity : 50 students / 5 bright and air conditioned classrooms
- accommodations: 25 pax at the very close vicinity of the Academy that we manage ourselves. 3 studios and 3 renovated Student Residences offering a good standard of comfort: fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms, garden, TV, Wifi, linens provided, all charges included.
- assistance: welcome and transfers upon arrival, pre-arrival information, tourist and useful information leaflet. Local transports are managed by us upon request.

- cultural immersion: whatever the program they follow, students can participate to the cultural outings and events with ALFMED. Every 2 weeks, a program is defined in order to help our students to take part to the social life of the city. Twice a month, we welcome “I’invité du jeudi”, a French professional who comes to present his business/hobby and products… in French and sometimes with a tasting session!
- special programs: ALFMED can tailored made sessions upon request, including computer classes and thematic outings.
- our objective: ensure a total French immersion through extra curricular activities and social activities: sightseeing tours, sport outings, week-end in a French family.
- our expertise: because we teach foreign languages to French companies we have our own network of companies where students can do an internship. We cover various activity sectors from Tourism, Cultural events, Hospitality, Agriculture and Food Industry, Florist Industry, Import-export, Law, environment, International schools (Patisserie, Air pilots, Language)...
- our way to do it : student take a written and oral test the very first day, we define the objectives of the internship in terms of French with the Tutor. We monitor and supervise the students during the stay. A certificate is issued at the end of the session. We can also train the students for the preparation of the Delf/Dalf and the TEF.
What we can provide in 7 points
- Intensive French classes over from 1 to 4 weeks possibility to add "technical" training if necessary
- Organise suitable accommodation and maintenance (full boarding upon request )
- Find, examine, evaluate and provide work experience places in local companies (in the above-mentioned sectors and according to the Europass profile).
- Monitor, supervise and evaluate the beneficiaries.
- Organise cultural visit(s) in the city or in the surroundings, cultural immersion
- Offer local logistical support to the beneficiaries (airport transfer, local transport, help, etc.).
- Internship tutoring, issue of Europass and the final report.
