Preparation and degree program for the TEF
The TEF ( Test d'Evaluation de Français ) is the most often used French test in the world.
Its objective is to certify the level in French to valorize the professional profile.
Designed and published by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Test d’Evaluation de Français (TEF) is an international reference instrument to measure the skills in French.
ALFMED is an accredited preparation centre and location to perform this test.
The TEF permits to measure rapidly the general skills in French of the students and employees whose mother tongue is not French. The TEF is the first test for French as a foreign language (FLE) which has been dispread on the language market in the world and it is a reliable and calibrated international tool, adapted to a recruitment procedure or an official specific administrative approach.
The TEF is offered by a network of nearly 350 centres which are distributed in about a hundred countries. It is admitted in dispensation of the TCF/DAP in condition to obtain an average of 16/20 in written expression.
In this scope, the Academy offers a preparation program and the possibility to perform the TEF.
Why perform the TEF?
As this is an objective evaluation tool which is also precise and reliable, the TEF benefits from the acknowledgement
- of the National Ministry of Education of France (Arrêté ministériel du 3 mai 2007) ;
- of the federal Canadian government (Citoyenneté et Immigration Canada) for the linguistic evaluation of immigration candidates who desire to live in that country (category "qualified workers") ;
- of the Ministry of cultural Immigration and Community in Québec by the TEFAQ, usable for the immigration procedures in Québec ;
- of numerous Francophone instructional companies and institutions.
