


In November 2007, ALFMED became a private session centre for the TOEIC®. The Academy is a training centre and an official centre where you can sit the exam. What is the TOEIC? The exam Candidates are given a score report, which shows their results. The TOEIC® test (TEST OF ENGLISH FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION™) measures proficiency in international Business English, at intermediate and advanced levels. It provides an accurate measurement of the English capabilities of non-native speakers in listening, reading and grammar.
The TOEIC® test measures and certifies listening, reading and grammar proficiency in international business English.
The test lasts 2 hours. The TOEIC® test is a paper and pencil test consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions, divided into 2 separately timed sections. Test takers respond to questions by marking one response from a choice of 4 with a pencil on a machine-scannable answer sheet. Based on real-life work settings, the TOEIC® test consists of 200 multiple-choice questions categorised into listening comprehension and reading sections.
The total score is hence between 10 and 990 points.
